This is the title of our family site and is a pun on one of the possible origins of the Kilkie surname. One version has the name being the Irish for Small or little. In what may be complete coincidences. A family which was named Small in the 1901 Irish census changed their surname to Kilkie in the 1911 Census and they are part of our Clan. The second coincidence concerns a certain Thomas Smalls Kilkie born in Pollokshaws, Glasgow in 1869. His father was also Thomas Kilkie and as far as we know there is no relation or neighbour called Smalls, so perhaps Kilkie is from the Irish for Small.
