Margaret passed away peacefully in the QEU hospital Govan around 10.30pm on 18 December 2023. Although she had terminal lung cancer her passing followed a short unexpected stay in hospital and a peaceful passing. During her final days in hospital she was visited by her son David and his partner Becka and Margaret’s brothers Bernie and Martin.

The funeral was at Craigton Crematorium at 1.30pm on 9th January 2024. A wake followed in the Crookston Hotel. Both the funeral and wake were very well attended by friends, past work colleagues and family. John McDonald, a friend of the family gave an inspirational review of Margaret’s life and recalled many memories for those present.
